Bloc Party Return Over Christmas

British rock band Bloc Party return after hiatus which was 16 month to the end of Christmas they served a festival treat for his fans.

Seinfeld tickets tout for £1,000

For Jerry Seinfeld’s only UK concert, just half an hour after the box office opened Touts are already demanding more than £1,000.

Seatwave is offering six tickets close to the stage of London’s O2 Arena at £1,098; with many more above the £400 mark.

The secondary ticketing company seatwave have tonight starred in a primetime TV advert. The advert which appeared before the Take That special is aimed at music fans in the UK.
Seatwave is an online ticket exchange service operating in the European market. It was founded in response to the lucrative ‘secondary ticketing’ market, whereby tickets to events are bought at face value by professional ticket touts or enterprising individuals, and resold at a profit – a practise already prevelant with online trading sites. However for the commission charged, it claims to offer consumers a more transparent and safer way to buy and sell tickets to live events including music, theatre and sport.
To ensure that tickets sold on the Seatwave site are legitimate and accurately represented, sellers are not paid for their ticket sales until after the event has occurred and buyers have gained entrance. Seatwave’s statistics show that 84% of sellers sold 6 or fewer tickets in 2008.

The inimitable Scottish comedian, Frankie Boyle,formerly of “Mock the Week” fame has shot into third place in the UK comedy ticket sales charts. The forthcoming gigs at London’s Hammersmith Apollo according to industry expert SEATWAVE tickets, are third in the charts behind only Peter Kay and Lee Evans, both of whom are performing huge arena tours.

The comedian who has been dumped by BBC, will be back now in action and it is a good news for the fans of Frankie Boyle. The comedian has been struggling to find another mainstream outlet for his observational humour.

With the potential for a full UK arena tour after the current theatre tour, it would mean that Frankie Boyle Tickets would be available to a much larger cross section of the UK public, and a DVD release would be much more likely.

Caleb Followill said, "There’s a lot of vulnerability on this record and that is the fact that a lot of it wasn’t rehearsed and, I mean, back in the, back when people were making real music, that’s what you loved when you could hear a pop here or a crack here, a door opening. I remember when we were doing 'Youth and Young Manhood', I forget which track it is, but if you listen closely, and we’re likely the only ones that can hear it, but while the track is being played, you can hear someone playing pool in the background. You can hear the balls cracking. And you know, it’s like, “that’s awesome,” you know, it’s got to stay."
